Not to worry, he was wearing all the good safety gear - short sleeve shirt, shorts and sneakers. Kind of irresponsible to put him in a helmet and those (at least they were thin) gloves, but nobody's perfect.

It could have ended badly but it was a risk the dad was willing to take to create a life long memory. I guess that's the beauty of being a dad, you can make these decisions as long as you can live with yourself.

Have to agree, not the smartest thing to "film" however how inspiring is it to see the kids face at the very end!
He will now be "King of the school yard" for years to come!
Not to mention his new found obsession with HD's for ever after that day,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

When i was 6 years old i was at a house party with my parents, would have been around midnight and i was doing much the same in this vid, but on a dirt bike with no riding gear at all, Rider was doing a mono at one point also, the excitement/thrill was etched in my mind for life! One of a few motivators to get a bike later in life.

Yes it may be irresponsible but people do what people do. Here is a similar one but different. A year younger this time.
