I have a ultima 18-533 wiring harness guys and im wanting to know if the bike has to be running for the headlight to work.I have power and when i use test light on the high and low beam it lights up but as soon as i hook the headlight up i get nothing then unhook the wires and the test light lights up again. Just leaves me wondering if the bike has to be running for the headlight to work.

hi there is enough power in the battery as i ran another power wire up and it lit up like a christmas tree but as soon as i hook the light up to the high and low beam wires there is nothing. the headlight has a good earth so im abit baffled
