I appreciate the original poster posted in April...but I bought my 01 Roadking back when I was 28. I just traded her in yesterday for a 15 Street Glide Special. I am a bit nostalgic about the decision, even still. There was hardly a time that when I got to my destination that I didn't look back on her and think "fuck you're a beautiful bike".
As other posters have stated, age isn't an issue with the king. The reasons for my upgrading were the rushmore enhancements are many, I wanted some tunes, and when I test-rode the SGS I was stunned at how well it cornered.
