I'm gong to replace the inner cam bearing on my two evo's  and i want to put a higher torque cam in the softail what is a good cam. It's stock interals and I don't want to have to up the comp or change anything but cam and lifters. What's my options and where the best place to get them.

+ EV3 is a good allrounder and really comes alive over 3500.  But if youre often pulling a bit of extra weight the EV27 might be better suited.

EV3 or better still an EV35 (same as EV3 BUT better for hot climates) or an EV27 in a pinch.

Check your cranking pressure first, if its low to start with, putting a longer duration can in will not increase Torque.

they need about 180 pound cranking to make good torque

I'll check pressure and see what it's got. The motor is strong now and is really tight it's only got 17,500 mms on the clock but better to check then to just put the cam in I guess thanks for the heads up mate.

The Screaming Eagle Cam SE4 is a great cam that pulls from 1500 rpm , as with most cams you will need adjustable push rods and its a good idea to replace your Harley lifters with another stock set while your on the go
