So I ordered a genuine HD 7" screen for my new 2014 Ultra.  It definitely feels a little smaller than my 2013 screen did, as I was sure it was either 7-7.5". The last screen wasn't genuine anyway.  So I measured the new screen and it's only 6.5"....barely !!!  So what's half and inch between friends???  I am measuring from the top of the fairing in the centre, to the top of the screen - correct?  So I have now ordered an 8.5" from Klock Werks, and really hope to get it prior to the Easter ride.

I got the 7" genuine HD screen, havent used it though, still in the box.

also got the HD 7" screen, then the 10" long shield, the 10" made a massive difference, eliminating any head buffeting, also can now hear the radio, the bike is now a real joy to ride.

The 10" is the standard screen height.

I'm wondering if I should have just got a standard screen and not a curved one. The curved screens are narrower at the sides. Time will tell.........

Might be an obvious and dumb question but I will ask anyway. I pick up my new 14 SG in a week or so. Ive ordered in the 7 inch flare screen. How  difficult is this to fit? Is it simply a matter of removing the 3 fasteners on the top of the fairing and lifting out one screen and dropping in the next?
