As you can probably guess from the anme I am an Ex Wideglide owner, I had a 1995 and a 2002 first got sold to buy house second to renovate, been about 5 or 6 years thought it was time to get back in to it, just bought a 2014 Vrod Muscle will pick it up in a couple of weeks cant wait. Yes a lot different, decison was made because of the changes to the new model wideglide. Lots of things I didnt like, tailight, no chrome, only 10mm increase in rear wheel etc.I know these things can be changed but it all adds up in $$$. I did take the new model for a spin , I still liked the feel but I had forgotten how much they dont stop when you hit the Whoa!! pedal. If I had an unlimited budget I would probably still get one and do it exactly how I would like it but unfortunately I havent won Lotto . Yet!! I took the Muscle for a spin and was impressed with the power , stop and go . and that 240 rear looks the goods (and 260 fits straight on the rim once I wear out the first tyre), the ride position suits my height with the pegs and bars feeling good straight out of the box. Might change my opinion after some kays are put under the belt but for now I think it shoud do the job nicely, maybe if that Lotto win hurrys up I may have the best of both worlds.
