Welcome Dom, I use Mr.Sheen to clean bike, don't have to wash it with water. Not sure how it goes on the matt finishes though.

I bought some denim cleaner from HD and have been watching a bunch of videos (even the dvd's i got when I bought the bike). you definitely can't leave the water on it after a rain ride as it spots like a mofo.... going to have to keep a chammy with me at all times :D...damn time to look into luggage options.

    Yeah Boom from Harley.

I got black diamond led gas cap, black oil level and the speaker kit.  I am also going to basically black out everything on the bike as I go.  Thinking about a memphis shades batwing as well.

Hehe. Yeah. James gave me some of the best service I've ever had. He went above and beyond. Pretty damn stoked with the bike. 300kms in and I just want to ride and ride and ride. :)

Thought I might put in an update. Hit the 1500ks mark today. This week the engine has felt a little less revvy when taking off in traffic and I feel like I almost have to rev it a bit more. It's still an incredible ride though. Had a suzuki m90 almost stay up with me...until I changed to 2nd. So yeah I really like the grunt of it. The engine guards are a bit too forward for my little legs and when I try to rest my feet on the rubbers my right leg hits the air cleaner all the time. I'm considering going for mid or forward controls. I'm getting use to the stock position but would prefer a more relaxed riding position. I do worry about my leg rubbing on the air cleaner though. I bought denim paint cleaner and mron glass and it's easy to keep clean. The speakers are ridiculously loud and they suit me to a tee :). The techmount phone holder snapped today after two months old (caught my phone luckily) so I'm returning that and looking at a harley tank pouch. I miss a bag for storing wet weather gear so might think about saddlebags soon and also a windshield (I love the look of the Memphis bat wings).
