so i needed to nip into town the other morning on the weekend.  the boy asks if he can come.  he has always been keen & always tells me the sporty is his bike too.  havent had him out before other than a quick ride down the street and back which was quite a while ago.  so i thinks "fuck, there goes me chance of making it a bigger loop".  i tell him alright and go through the rules with him & tell him to go put his jeans on.

so we get to town after the short little jog & i do what i need to do.  we are about to get back on the bike and he says "dad are we going back on the same road ?"  "why's that i say ?"  he sheepishly says "well thats not really long enough.  can we go a long way home ?"   thats me boy.   : )

That's awesome. Can't wait for my boy to be old enough to jump on the back. Got him an eectric quad for his birthday and he is hooked. Wants to ride it every night.

    Hi,

My 11yo Daughter loves the Harley and always complains if we don't take the longest way home!

Careful what you wish for. There's a certain 13 year old that keeps turning up to our interstate rides, cramping dad's style.

    Good stuff killer.

My eldest (just turned 6) always asks when can he go for a ride on the Harley with dad, I keep telling him he has to be 7. At a mates place a coupla weeks ago my mate asked how old he was and he said 7 in the hope he could go for ride on his bike. He's pretty keen.

Just yesterday I took my young bloke, who has just turned 8, out on his first ride on the back my street glide. He loved it. I then took my 16 year old daughter for a 50 kay lap aswell. The missus told me I'll have to get side car for the streety. The young bloke in the side car and my daughter on the back. She will then ride her Ninja so then we'll have the whole family along! Not quite what I imagined when I bought a harley....
