Hi All, I have searched through the forums but havent really had my questioned answered (I think) .... so it is this.

My bike had its first service 1600ks at the Stealers, my second (8000k) was done by a mechanic with an ABN at his own business using all HD oils and bits ( due 16000k service 7 months old) but from what I have read my warranty is now void even though I have 17 months left on it because the dealer has not done ALL servicing   though I cant get the book stamped cause you dont get one any more, you have to buy a servicce book seperatly now...... but I thought the victorian motor vehicle warranty laws for cars would apply to motorcycles as well?

Thank you very much Rodders for that information and the time you took to answer it, that is exactly what I needed to know, I have a reasonably detailed invoice from my last service from the non dealer so I am most relieved to have that answered. Again thank you.
