Hi guys, I'm looking at buying my first Harley, a friend of mine has a honda shadow that looks like the one pictured but I'm after the real thing!! I'm hoping to get one for $6000 or $7000, I'm not after a $20000 bike for the 6 grand, age or k's doesn't bother me and it doesn't have to be mint, just needs to be registered and rideable.

You will be bloody lucky to get a rideable big block for that amount of money...A messed up Sporty perhaps.

Agreed. A high mileage, very old and/or poor condition sporty. Or half an ordinary big twin.
Why not buy a jap cruiser for that money
