EPA Test with SE Heavy Breather

Received an EPA notice to get my motocycle tested.  I have a 2013 883 Iron now with standard exhaust back on and still have the screamin' eagle heavy breather with screamin' eagle super tuner pro applied. Now I've been told I also need to put the standard air filter back on before I get it tested else it could get defected.

Does anyone know if this is correct?

If so would I need to also re-tune back to standard mappings to avoid causing any damage or will it be fine for having the standard air filter on as is for the test?

If you have to go to the EPA for the Test, Yes The Engine has to be back to Stock Standard as they will be giving your bike a noise and emission test.
If it's just a noise test at your local Exhaust Shop you will be ok without changing it back

I also went through the process and reside in the Sydney area. Stock exhaust and air fliter had to be fitted to be passed. As far as remapping, just take it easy going to testing station and you will be alright.

I wonder how you would go with the CVO SE bikes that have the Heavy breather fitted as standard ?

Not long been through all that after getting done near Maitland.

Your bike wont pass with the heavy breather but will with the high flow breather cover.
If you only have the stage 1 map on your Pro Tuner it won't effect your results.

Message me if you like, this shit can cause some heartache, Cheers.
