Glad you got the tyre issue sorted Matt ! We had a good ride home, the Rosa Brook Rd was a great ride into Nannup, on to Balingup for a coffee, stopped at S/W Harley in Bunbury for a mechanical adjustment on Greg's bike, saw a few cops on the S/W Hwy before stopping off at Yarloop and Ravenswood for beers. Thanks boys for a great couple of days !

Gotta agree, great weekend for all. The balingup - nannup rd was the highlight for me, and good to meet Greg and a great story behind that '97 Electra glide with 4000 original ks. Thanks matt for organising and all that attended

What a great ride. The route was amazing with a real mix of twists turns undulations and straights. Gave my bike a real workout and I could notice the newer bikes have moved streets ahead in handling and power from the old Evo with carbies but I didn't get too far behind!!! This has to be an annual run and I reckon we stay pretty well to the route we took as it takes in some great country. Thanks for the organization guys.

The bike is going to have a little rest until i can sort out the oil leak (it is an Evo) and work on the suspension to get better handling. I reckon your right Trevor and a 1" lower setup would help a lot and new fork legs and shockies on the rear will sort out the stiffness. 1997 seals must be as stiff as the owner now:)

Thanks to all for a truly great HD ride from all aspects.

Good to hear you got your tyre sorted Mat.

Great ride and good company on Monday to Margs. Also good ride to Ravensthorpe on Tuesday, Margs to Albany awesome. A bit boring Albany to Ravensthorpe tho, straight roads. Did get a bit lively near Ravensthorpe with skippy jumping out, that was a close one. Wednesday to Norseman after pulling in at Esperance for some breaky. Norseman to Perth on Friday, pissed down with rain from Widgee to Merridan. Wet weather gear worked well, just need some water proof gloves.

Airhawk seat cover - absolutely awesome, no sore arse at all even from Norsey to Perth. With only quick stops for fuel and a drink.

All up 2500km round trip. Bike ran sweat, tho has developed a vibration at 2600rpm and sheared off the lower exhaust bracket bolt. After a search on the forum and a look in the manual its possibly a clearance issue with the front engine mount, will check it out.
