dont know about other west aussies but i reckon we miss out big time when having a look at the edenhope runs that get organised over east.  so lets do one ourselves ?  at the moment the destination is unknown but just getting this out there early enough so those needing leave passes,  arrange cover at work  etc  all have a bit of time to do so.

only think locked (sort of) in so far is the timing.  this run is on between the easter and anzac day breaks.   the plan will be to meet somewhere in the south west (prob approx 2hr ride from metro)  then a casual ride through some great parts of god's country to another south west desination for a few beers and an overnight stay.

so far meself & keith & most likely some of his fifo mates are in & hoping to draw a good crowd.   so if you are hanging for a decent ride,  this will be one not to miss.

alright a plan has been made. this run will look like this :

meet for around 10-10:30 am in collie. ride through god's country on an undisclosed route, with a few refreshment stops before making it into margaret river for more beers and an overnight stay. everyone heads in there own direction next morning.

dates are yet to be locked in but will be somewhere in between monday 21st april - friday 25th april. so if your keen and you have a preference sing out so we can lock a date in.

route planned is a ripper and will be well worth the ride for all that attends.

Goodo for the WAHD riders. Anywhere on the bike is good and the country down around Collie/MR just sublime. 21st/22nd suits me..........23rd onwards a bit sticky.

G`Day Matt, being after & then before a long weekend is hard for me being a shitty postie, but I will have a word to my boss & see if I can take  time off , it really depends on how many other people have allready booked that week! cause we have to claim our holidays 12 months in advance ( crap Hey ! ) its all to do with having enough postie`s around to deliver the goods...Sounds Brilliant mate I will be Kissing major ass , & trust me She`s got a major ass LOL, just maybe Im the wrong gendor..( wotthe? did I write that? )

good stuff navvy. well maybe 21st & 22nd is the go ?? early in the week too so any guys that are doing anzac day rides or anzac day commitments wont clash with this.

Maybe a great idea for a promo ride. Meet at the border for a beer. Got lots going for it. Toss ideas around and see what falls the right side up!!!!

well given a few have sited earlier that week the better & helps for not clashing with Anzac Day, let's lock it in for the 21st boys. so meet in collie on 21st at around 10-10:30am.

now accom most likely be scarce due to timing but i will get on now & see what's up for grabs. the alternative is swagging it.

Accommodation sorted Matt,the real upside will be the quality of the eye candy down there that time of the year !

What is the plan for accomodation? Being a Monday night might help but good to book as early as poss.

navvy a couple of us are already booked into the grange. they still have some rooms left. there were a few other places with a few rooms left too. i wouldnt leave it to long mate otherwise you may miss out. i reckon if you get anything in town you will be sorted as we will all just hit the pub anyway mate.
