Still waiting on the Beatty tool as he sent it to the correct address but incorrect post code - Auspost sent it back as undeliverable although they cant confirm this as they don't scan return mail........ so I'll just hang on then!!!!!
REALLY getting impatient and want to install these cams :)

    Cheers

so I've been researching to and leaning towards
    Andrews 48's
    SE254E
    and the TR555T

from what ive read on here from other members, apart from pushrods is there anything else that's really required to fit a cam? should I be looking at hardened springs and different lifters?

    Hi,

I been doing same as you Hendo, reading etc, i going to change lifters as i am around 34,000kms although there is spec in manual to check lifter wear and tear

Will also check and deal with cam tensioners,

    Thanks

T -bone The tw-555 woods didn't need compression
Design was to drop in a stock motor with stock heads
    I did
Nice and quiet on the valve train , nice whippy responsive motor

If I ever ended up with 2 Harley's again I'd do it again
I ended up bumping compression when I went 96 9.2 cr
to 103 9.8 cr se flat tops

    Hi,

got the SE254e cams installed, big thanks to Geoff3DMN for his review of these cams in his FLD and was fortunate to pick some up off ebay a while ago from someone who didnt approve of them

good ride today with plenty of autotunes off a dynojet map and its going well, they idle nice, and run well

looking into either a 103 big bore or 106 S&S for a winter adventure now, just have to figure out compression etc

    thanks
