I have a problem ( i think) with the motor ( valve train?) on my 2000 TC
I gave the old girl a bit of a hammering ( long period of reasonably high revs) on the way home Sat, through Tugan tunnel to burleigh and when i pulled in to my shed , switched it of , i saw smoke coming from what appeared to be the rear rocker box. Funny thing is that it didnt smell like burnt motor oil, more like plastic?
i have also noticed more oil being spat onto my pipes and oil barrel that cant be coming from the head breather bolt as I have routed a hose that pipes it to under the bike.
apart from being a pain to clean of the oil stains i dont think it should be smoking like that, The old girl has just on 90 K on it btw.
any ideas?

judging from the replies, It looks like I have a top end rebuild coming up, which is ok, I already have a set of 2007 heads ready to go on.
just need a good barrel / piston set.
time to go to 95 - 97ci
