I have to admit that I'm loving the look of the new 2014 Dyna Lowrider which HD just announced over night.

Yep. I like it too. The Amber Whiskey/Black 2 tone looks great too.

I don't often do me too posts... but me too :)

2 into 1 exhaust, low bars, alloy wheels, twin disks... ticks most of my boxes.

I'm not ready to update yet but this would have to be on the short list.

Loved the Low Rider since the Shovel Models.

About time Harley woke up to themselves.

Always loved that big HARLEY-DAVIDSON script on the tank--they should put that on more models

Does any body know if you can put forward controls on it? I would assume so!

I posted almost a year ago in this thread saying that I wasn't ready to update yet but I'm getting close now.

So I dropped into our local dealer (just coz I was going past and had some time to browse the bikes) and what do I see but a Low Rider demo bike!

I've booked a ride for next tuesday but I'm already pretty sure one of these will be my next bike (I don't think a test ride will change my mind, but hey... free bike ride).

The big question is 'the dealer offered to sell me the demo' (and it's a fair bit cheaper than a brand newey and it's got less than 200kms on it).

Has anyone bought a demo before? Any problems? Anything I especially need to check during the test ride?

The money I'd save would go towards a muffler and a rack/sissy bar (and other wise those would have to wait if I bought a brand newey).

PS The demo is the same colour as the bike at the start of the thread (black with red tank writing).

Well that demo didn't bloody last long! 6 hours after I looked at it the shop sold it (and have taken a deposit).

I guess that means I'm back to looking at a new one (and my test ride is on hold unless there is a demo somewhere else).

If you can get a demo, (discounted Price) I'd get one everytime, as soon as those tyres leave the showroom floor you have lost thousands on resale value.
You still get the full warranty, same goes with cars too, better to have the extra dosh in your pocket than theirs.
