helmet with built in rear view vision

    Howdy, saw this link on another site, looked interesting so I had a quick read.  It's not 1 April so I figure it's legitimate, ha ha.

    I use an open face on the HD but a full face on the other bike, while my mirrors work fine for me, there are those out the who may find this useful.  

    I'm not sure if it's an Aussie invention, but if it is, way to go!!!!

    Anyway have a look here, ReeVu helmet.

    I nearly bought one of these a while ago , it took them ages to get them through the ADR checks and on the market.
    The shop that I went to had display models and were taking orders , I waited six months then went for another brand.
    They would be handy on sports bikes where the mirrors seem to be useless.

    I'm waiting for the Skully P1 helmet to be released in this country, 10 times more fun.....

    Wouldn't the Skully P1 Helmet if released it this country have the GPS, Rear view Camera etc on the lower left?

    A real alternative (loads cheaper) is to put a wide angle 'overtaking' mirror on a corner of your mirror, but fix it backwards and you can see directly behind you!
