I really appreciate ur input on this. But i think i might be a bit out of my depth on this one. The mechanical side of things is fine but this electrical shit really isnt my thing. I might just have to bite the bullet, put the wiring back to how it was and take to a dealer to do the wiring. I also checked for continuity between the common ground and the o2 pins and there is nothing. Im just wondering if the sensors need power to complete the circuit? Or there is a miss in my wiring but you wouldnt think that would stop it from running. Thanks again.

I cant beleive this shit. Now the starter wont engage. Maybe that was the problem all along. Im positive the wiring is correct and it has been hard and slow turning over the last couple of weeks. Maybe the big bore kit ( higher comp. ) has stuffed the starter coz it just spins now motor doesn't turn at all. Should i try giving it a push start??

If it wasnt for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all!! Battery is a bit low now from password learn but its always on a trickle charger and is usually fully charged and its been cranking slower and slower. Clicks and whirs. Sounds like a turbo spooling up.

I haven't done a compression test yet and its probably getting close to being run in. Approx 900 kms since rebuild. I'll try again when the battery is full and do a comp test. Does that mean new cams with acr or is there another way of doing it? Thanks

Thats telling me its 177. Battery is only 15 months old and always on a tender when not riding.

Can you list your build spec, head volume,
    Pistons, cams etc.
You may have even damaged the starter clutch or pinion.
The loss of serial data is a worry.
Do you have the cable for the SE tuner?

OK, the serial data code only came up once and hasn't returned. got the leads for the tuner and software on laptop ready to go. The bike has .510" S&S gear driven cams, SE adjustable pushrods, V&H big radius 2-2, Wimmer spike, SE 1550 big bore kit with cast flat tops. Not sure on volume of heads but they have been ported and polished, then re-ported cos they were too polished! 1.615" exh. valves and 1.900" int. valves. ported stock throttle body and SEPST and heavy duty clutch.

Tried starting again with full battery and it was the same just spin no engage. And just one push of the start button the battery dropped below 80% full

Ur not going to believe this. I just took the inner rear guard off to get to the oil tank bolts so i can get the starter out. And i just found a PC3 tucked away in there. WTF do i do now???

Well i went to a different dealer than the one that put in the unnecessary sepst and the tech reckons the clutch is buggered. So i the replacement parts and im tryin to get it out. What a mission, i got bits everywhere!!
