Hi Guys. I can't get my head arround this thing, Is that possible if u buy brand new engine from harley davidson. Can they put same matching numbers wht u got on ur previous engine.My old engine is fucked because of over rev on dyno and the guy who fixing my bike now is saying we can get brand new engine and put the old engine numbers on that through harley davidson. Tell me guys how true is that.

That would be cases only I should imagine. A complete new engine would have it's own serial number.
