Hi all, does anyone have these fitted to their softail and if so what do you think. I have had new front springs done and they made a big differencde but the stock rears still let the bike down. Griffin has the for under $800, is it money well spent, cheers Steve.

yer i have these fitted to my 03 softtail, love em a heap better than stock shit, fells better in corners no were as much softy wallow and more predictable in corners, only my opion though.
Have them fitted on my 08 Fatty, Yes they are a great improvement from the standard shocks. Adjustable as well for the double up and additional swag and gear when needed.I have had no problem with them.
I got a mate who lent me his deluxe for awhile. It has the 422s without adjuster on iit and I could not believe how smooth it is. Found myself looking for bumps to try and feel a jar. Easily the best shocks I have rode with.
I was that impressed that I bought a set for my softy. These ones have the adjuster but I have not put em on yet.
fitted mine up and they stiff as a fucking board. So i looked on the yank forums and it seems they get sent out with the heavy duty springs for 2 up riding or if ya a big fat cunt. I am spewing. Why would they not send them out with standard springs and get people to order the heavy duty ones if needed??. Please tell me where the fuck it says anything about this on the wedsite. http://www.progressivesuspension.com/product/1416/422-series-shocks-wrap I weigh 90 kgs and my softy is a single seat semi custom so at this stage it seems they are fucking useless.
I went with YSS shocks that are made in Aus and he makes them to suit your weight and what sort of ride you are looking for. I paid around the same money but these are far superior to the standard Harley shocks. I think a few members on here have now used them and the feedback has all been positive, link below.
