G'day,

Thought i'd add my sporty build. Now its not going to be anything mind blowing, but it's my first bike i've decided to customise. Its basically going to be an on the road build, and i hope to turn it from something a bit boring, to something a lot more tough. 

Plans so far are:
- Bars/risers 

- Alloy polishing/general cleaning

- Lowering/blackouts

- Exhaust/intake

- Seat/tank lift

- Mirror flip/headlight mount

- Wheels/tyres

 

This is how i got it. Not a bad starting point but pretty dirty and plain. Needed a good cleanup first and foremost. 

 

Next was to change the ugly seat. Who needs passangers anyway? 



First thing after that was a bar change. I tried for probably 2 days to wire the bars internally. I dont know if its the ppor quality of the joins/welds, but it was pretty much impssible to get 7 wires through. I thought i would let it go and start mounting them. The risers it came with were 4 inch solid mount and they looked crap. I quickly changed them with some 1" alternatives, with a rubber mounting kit and single clamp.




 

But as you can see, the alloy was terrible so out came the buff and dremel.
