gday guys /gals im bruce i have a 81 low rider which was given to me by a army buddy on his passing so its has more meaning to me etc she hasnt been on the road in 18 years so its full rebuild etc

i should have the engine comeplete end of feb start mar then get onto the other bits and peices re do the hydloics etc wheel bearings

thanks all for your kind words hope to have the engine back this week then have to save to get the hdryolics done etc speedo cable few things slowly but surely

cheers kiwidave as u have said that lol this bike has been sitting for 18 years i need to do all the brakes hydrulics etc i havent asked anywhere as yet the front brakes are single piston calipers im being advised to change them to a 2 piston type
i have no idea what ones would fit is it a good idea to do this i really wana keep it as orignal as it is so u have said its allmost orignal i have no idea how to find out what is and or is not orignal

another question is as its been sitting so long would i be advised to get new caipers or rebuild the ones on it rebuild kit or how ever it works i no your in nz would there be someone to give good adivse etc here inmelb im hopeing others will chime in as well
