I have 14 Fat Bob can't keep me off it.

I get heaps of looks and compliments as every man and his dog hasn't got one yet.

    Both are good bikes.

I really couldn't find that much difference in the handling and on our local Harley dealers demo day I scraped both bikes just as much. I believe in my personal opinion either is good though I prefer the old school look of the Wide Glide vivid black with flames but that's me :0)

I'm with you China , bought a 2014 fatbob was going to change the rear guard but now I'm not after having a good look at the bike and it's styling , haven't had one negative comment on it either , after all everyman & his dog has a bobtail guard on their bike  LOL

Same here fellas looks better in the flesh photos do it no justice.

I really like the chopped look, i personally never liked the long look of the old guard, bit dated.

The fat bob has its own distinctive look with the twin headlights and the twin led taillight, compliments the headlights. Its a modern take on the classic look, about time Harley moved on with the times.

Each to their own, I prefer the new rear fender and twin lights, the old one looked ok but dated. Still waiting for my Fatbob to arrive, wasn't sure about the new seat until I took one out, that's comfy! Got all the stage one kit, just need the bike, another few weeks....

Hi Big Baz, how comfy is the seat and the back piece just seems to be perfect for the bottom part of your back when the torque slides you back.

You are going to enjoy it bloke they are a good package.

If there was one thing i would recommend is get your dealer to do is put 20wt oil in the forks to the same level, stops all that diving under decel and braking.

Be sure to post a pic in the fat bob & dyna photo threads.

Do they still make wide glides??? It's all down to taste and a dyna of any description is a pretty good starting point. my2c

Have hired a Fat Bob for a weekend just recently. Very impressed apart from the engine vibration around 2000rpm. Tyres need ditching too. All in all a nice relaxed cruiser. Seat was great.
I have hired a Wide Glide this weekend. First impression is the engine vibration drives me nuts, all through the rev range. Am off for a longer ride tomorrow so will report back.
Thanks Guys for the feed back.

I like the wide glide too apart from the skinny wheels and ugly rear fender, it's all personal opinion but I love the look of the Fatbob and won't be changing the twin headlights or rear guard, both are part of the character of the bike, which for me is the best looking Harley of the lot!

Looking at getting into a 2014 Wide Glide as well. A lot of people are saying that due to the BIG Rake it's hard to ride around town ??

I like both but as I have a street bob I'd go for a fatbob mainly so I have something with duel disks that I can ride a little harder in turns.

I've been considering a 1st gen fat bob (then install a different rear fender and single headlight) but all the used gen 1 fatbobs in VIC seem to be 96s. I want an 103

That has made the second gen fatbob start to grow on me, especially in Sand cammo denim.
