Thanks guys for your input. Still waiting to sell my sporty so I can make a decision. I did hire a Wide Glide for a weekend. Really cool bike to ride and handled better than expected. The engine vibration was a bit painful but you would get used to it i suppose.

Has anyone put a V&H 2 into 1 on their Fat Bob or Wide Glide?? Did it make the engine vibration better or worse??
Decision time now as I have sold my Sporty....

Get a wide glide better looking bike then the latest bobs. That's coming from a fatbob owner.

Then again if ya ride like a maniac and like smoking some of the average jap bike riders through the mountains then ya better off with the bob, better handling and braking.

Will be interesting to see if 2015 retains the rear guard that's divided so many opinions. Not long now untill we get a first look.

Probably hold off until I see the 2015 model bikes. But keep the feed back coming guys. The Wide Glide looks better and is cool to ride where as the Fat Bob looks tough and rides really well... apart from engine vibration around 2000rpm.

While I was out riding yesterday I saw a few fellow Fatbobs. I nod to all riders, regardless of bike. Between 2 bikes, it's respect. Between 2 harleys, it's a little more personal, but when 2 Fatbobs pass each other and nod, it's almost an unofficial club. Congrats mate.

Just put the deposit down for 14 WG yesterday. Going up from an Iron. Anything essential to do before delivery? Ended up doing pipes cleaner computer pillion sissy on iron. Wisdom and insight appreciated.

Cool bike to ride Branchermarine... enjoy I hired one a couple of months back but just couldn't put up with 2 spoke wheels to clean plus the engine vibration. It does handle well for a bike with plenty of rake.
The flush mount fuel filler/fuel gauge is a nice look plus a front indicator relocation kit. Neither cost the earth. I also bought the lift adaptor kit for my bike lifter. http://www.harley-davidson.com/store/dyna-service-lift-adapter-kit

Cheers guys- I'm very excited pick it up Sat (rain permitting-lol!) . Went for more comfortable pillion and sissy/backrest so I don't dump kids and wife on deck when I accelerate! Gotta say that buying a bike is a significantly better experience than buying a car. Picture follows- went Morroccan Gold with flame motif. Cause that was what was in stock. Roll on the weekend!

And the Fatty has twin disc front end. If you want to ride hard there will be times when you need to pull up hard... And the fatty has it all over the Widey in the brake department (and factory ABS helps).

    I love my fatty.
