just want some info from anyone who has chopped or altered the rear licence plate for the breakout i was looking at it and it looks like you could take it off and chop about 100mm off the licence plate frame/holder and have the plate light just under the rear fender insted of half way down your tyre just want to have more of that 240 tyre showing any help would be great place thatr do it ect.
Hey shaggs you've gota clear the rear end by getting a genuine HD side mount license plate holder and do away with the plate and light assembly. I reckon it looks awesome being able 2c the big fat rear end
G'day champ, I did mine, took the whole bracket off and then re-drilled the mounting holes 1 inch back, cut the bottom of and then used an led light strip from repco tucked under the fender for the license plate light, pics are in my previous post somewhere. Looks heaps better.

That looks very neat, Mick. Did you retain a rear reflector or are you living without?
