Hi guys,
I want to fit forward controls to my 2009 Low Rider, is this an easy job I can do myself or should I get the dealership to supply and fit, they have said it will take three hours and will cost almost as much as the price of the controls! I intend leaving the original gear lever shaft in place with a cap.
I have plenty of time on my hands but lack the know how, also does it require special tools??
Appreciate any help you can give me, if it saves me coin .

I fitted forwards to my FXDB... the only part that is difficult is removing the shaft through the primary and I have a dealer pull the primary off to do that. I note some people leave on and just use a cap over the spline.
