They are ok, don't expect the sound quality to be as good as your S.G stereo, phone quality
is great, music not so good, GPS great, intercom great if you can work it out.

We've been using them for about 5 years. Had early issues with 1 speaker dying (no stereo) but mostly used for intercom so no problem. Dual is simple, 3 & 4-way gets a bit tricky trying to sort out who is how many clicks. Range is good and if you separate, they hook up again very quick.

1st trial , shithouse . As soon as we got to 60km/h the wind noise was fucked . Turned them off for the day . Came home and read the instructions .Maybe shoulda done that more thoroughly . There are little caps that are meant to cover the forward facing part of the microphones ............... Have now installed said caps , and will trial again tomorrow . Stay tuned folks .

We have these on 3 helmets (mine, husband, daughter) and have been super happy with them.

Bluetooth range is great, but if we think we'll get out of range of each other someone just instigates a party call (coz we're all on cap plans anyway) and away you go.

I found the jog/shuttle button thing a bit squiffy to get used to, but now it's ok.  Set them up to use VOX so we can voice dial ("ring Mandi" etc) and to answer you just make a noise into the mic and it connects.

It makes a big difference when you have the mic facing the wrong way - Husband was complaining that he heard a tonne of windnoise from me, turns out my mic was turned the wrong way (little arrow notch thing should face away from you).  All good now.

Sorry to bore you Davutch . After reading instructions properly and fitting the cap over mic to stop wind noise , well , yes I don,t have wind noise !!!

Were absolutely faultless using them as intercoms all day today . Will bluetooth phone later . Piece of piss to fit , good piece of kit .

When all else fails, read the instructions!

Haven't got mine yet (Nolan N-Com), but just wondering if these things can talk to other brands? I'm thinking the answer is no?

Answer is no, unfortunately. Only way is to call each other using the phone (blue toothed to headset).

GT, why are you getting the Nolan ones?

The Nolan intercom is pricey . As much for 1 Nolan as the pair of Sena .

I bought the dual pack from the states as well, we have had it for over a year and no issues at all - really happy with the set up. Didn't know about the upgrade on the PC - I have been charging off a USB port that plugs into the 240V (bought off evil bay for about $15) small enogh to fit in the bag and can recharge anywhere.

Yes  Sean is interchangeable you buy different mounting brackets also you can purchase the base which will allow you to use ear bud headphones also can connect up to 4 other intercoms of the sena family don't hold me to it though

We have been using a Sena for over 5 years.  You can fit boom mic or fixed mic, the base is fitted to your helmet and you just transfer the operating unit helmet to helmet. Rain is not a problem and we have linked 4 riders together.
