I was hoping to head from home through Gawler, Williamstown and Birdwood, then meet up with the ride at Mannum, and head back to Angaston with the pack.

Not the black dog though, but working with animals for a living, I copped a decent dog bite to the hand a coupla days ago (occupational hazard for me), and I only made it a kilometre from home before realising that I just couldn't operate the clutch without tearing the skin off my hand, so I turned around and headed home again.........................better scratch my name up for the pussy patrol too!

It was a good ride and to be honest it was a bit cool in the hills but out in the open country it proved to be a good day.

Gave up trying to post on my mobile, just wont work.
Left Elizabeth around 7.30, scooted around the city and topped up at the servo at the bottom of the freeway, but couldn't get out cause of all these push bikes that thought it would be fun to ride up the hill.
Because of the pushies the freeway was down to 40kl/h, finally to 60 then 100 kl/h and off I go. Half way up, this Big black thing pops up in my mirrors, comes up along side.........Tim, good timing mate.
Into Hahndorf..........no signs, wtf. Tim took the lead and we found them. Signage would have helped guys.
They had 88 pre registered but another 100 or so braved the weather and showed up unannounced.

I think it took 5 or 6 ferries to get us all across
And after I took the next shot at our destination, stragglers were still turning up looking for a park.
Unfortunately 2:30 lunch was a bit late cause thats when the counter meals stopped.
Good to see Spook and Jen out and about, hope you guys had an uneventful trip home.
