evo oil filter/ ryco alternative?

    yes there is I have used them no probs just give them a coat of flat black as they stand out cant rember the number off the top of my head
    there for a stationary briggs +strattion mtr

    just had a look z87a for softail buy memory there not that much cheaper than oem about $13 and that was at trade few years back

    ryco oil filters will have a different pressure bypass valve in them , cars have a higher oil pressure i use to use then in the early 80's on my old cast iron Sporty untill i found out

    If you live remote then buy two and have one as a spare...depends upon how often you change the oil and filter.

    Perhaps look at a resuable filter. Save you all the time and effort in future and will be cheaper in the long run with the added benefit of a higher level of filtration. I believe Walka at FPW has them.

    now if home brand made a oil filter and had it on the shelf at woollies we would not have this problem buying a oil filter
