The term "Electric leg" was/is a slang term used to describe a bike with a starter motor on the older bikes. I don't think it is the brand name of a starter motor. I haven't heard of that one before............Anyone else got a theory on this?

the one  we had here was that brand name  it was on a 93 c.ci shovel stroker,  the starter backing main support plate that holds up the starter had crack badly i vee it out & welded her back up ,  i had to make a strong  support bracket for the right hand side as it had to much weight overhang  thats whjat cracked it , i rang the company up & they did supply a new mounting plate , for now the old one is still working

apparently support bracket's crack on every one, this is his second and I spotted a crack when we fiitted repaired motor, luckily had old bracket welded up so's used that and got new one booked in for repair, must be extreme inertia when motor flick's on but billet IS easycrack stuff

i have i new starter support plate from this company there's no improvement over the old one's  because its cnc machined ,   the corners where its milled out are too sharp & thats where the crack starts ,  but you must make a very strong right hand support bracket , they do not supply one as to many different custom bike models , the one i repaired & welded & made a strong support bracket is still working & thats on a 93 c.i. Shovel stroker, the other thing is make sure the engine is tuned proper  or it will kick back on the starter & stress it out even more
