Front brake not working after bar change

I took the master cylinder off the front bars and let it sit on the ground for a while. After re fitting it I noticed I had no brake lever, checked the reservoir and it's full. What could be happening? I was going to bleed it but at $50 for 500ml I might see if I can't work it out.

    Cheers

Where the hell are you buying your brake fluid from.

Go to Repco and grab a good quality brake fluid, shouldn't cost more than $10.

Just go to your Harley Dealer (Peter Stevens) and buy the DOT 5. I'm sure it was less than $20 when I last bought some.

Those little air bubbles a re real bugger to get out...

I went to HD developments and was 30 for less that half a leter, ill call peter stevens. How do you gauge how full the master cylinder needs to be?

They were not too hard to get out with a tap of the lever, just took ages. But pretty much went hard instantaneously after the last lot of bubbles came out.
