just took my bike to stevos in dandy to have a map installed on my new bike, when i was riding home was amazed that there was the same poping and  bit of backfiring after it had a map done on it, i rang and they said ye it was normal , and to bring it back after it was run in and do a dyno on it to get the best out of the bike . i would have thought it would have sounded better than it did . any info would be great , cheers

You wouldn't want to dyno tune a new bike until after the engine is run in

Run it in on the dyno, that way the tuner can keep an eye on the AFR and possible pinging.
