Gday guys im currently changing the front rotor on the wide glide and i thought whilst im there ill change the fork oil. now ive read the whole forks need to come out but with the front axle out it looks asif there are 2 drainplugs up underneath, is this the case or something completely different?
thanks in advance! rob
they look like drain bungs but they are the bolts that hold the piston inside the fork tube mate.
its easy enough to pull the forks out, undo top nut carefully whilst holding pressure down on it. tip fork upside down whilst holding your hand over the opening as spacer/ springs and spacer will slide out. compress tube in and out to get all fluid out
plenty of videos on youtube if you get stuck aswell
cheers mate!
