G'day. 

Trying to fit some stock risers as the ones that were on the bike were too long (4". The ones i have fitted are 1 1/2" but different in the way they are mounted. The 4" risers sit in some sort of solid bushing and are bolted from the bottom up. The ones i am fitting require a standard harley rubber bush, which i have purchased, but not quite sure how to fit it. Do i need to tap out the bushings in the photo? If so do they come out from the top or bottom? 

The rubber bushings i have are not the same diameter as the hole in the triple tree, does this matter or is there a step in the whole where it is narrower?

In case anyone reads this in the same boat. Solid mounts tap out from the ground up. New ones go in one rubber below, on on top, and a crush tube through the middle. dont forget the two washers like i did. Cheers
