G'day all, I am sure I won't be the first to ask but I am looking for some info on fitting a wide rear end to my 2013 Fatbob. It would be great to have some hints from people who have already done this, any advice would be very much appreciated.
Cheers
If you bought it to ride it, don't do it.
I say go for it if that's what you want !
You do usually need to cut off the original feneder struts and weld on new ones, but not hard to do .

Interesting feedback, thanks - as I said I am just looking into it right now, and if it trashes the handling then that's a big consideration, definitely bought the bike to ride.
well yes certain models would surprise you an you may wonder why in the hell you didnt do more research before you layed down your hard earned on model you bought ,depends on how long youve been riding motorcycles and what visually turned you onwhen you said 2 yourself thats wat i want that 1 there and now your findind in yourself geez can be handfull if you try 2 be aggressive in your ridin ,what model you own i didnt quite get what model is fatboy lo your bike if so its good for cruising along type style not really meant 2 be agressive with bike more of a laid back comfortable ride ,but once you start 2 ride in dyna family its a bike that can be pushed to a lot higher agressive throw it in corner at speed and ride through leaning over and bike will be stable ,also have much more responsive braking ,ya see the dynas frame is more traditional arrangement likec early brtish bikes and twin shocks none of that shock under frame stuff an raked out out fronts an oversized tyres DONT MAKE for good handling at all ,i own a fatbob with a stg iv screaming eagle race kitand handles i push this motobike hard ,most people would not ride agresively you can lean this bike owned over 50 mpotorbikes started indirt which is good and that learned heaps and anyway fatbob is great handling bike an goes like scalded cat an stops has twtin disks atfront brembo made for this bike
