Hey guys. I am new to the Harley scene and am halfway through undertaking a Black Death replica build, the FXR out of the Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man movie. The question I have is, I have purchased some 41mm 30.25" fork tubes to suit the wide glide trees, do I need to order a different spring kit or will the factory kit suffice. Being an LV mechanic and from what I can determine from the factory manual, I would need a different internal kit to suit. Can anyone assist me with this please. Happy to post pics of the frame, tank if anyone is interested.
stock spring will be fine , set it up so it has 19 to 25 m.m. pre load on the top tube cap nut , use 30 w good brand fork oil. i use & have in stock Bel-Ray, 30 w Bel-Ray fork oil is hard to find
i will pack it up good for you in a box , should be ok thru the post i think ?
