I am insured with New England Insurance Brokers at Stanthorpe QLD, and have been for past 6 years. They have my bike insured with ALL Extras I have added, Including Tuner, ( just showed proof with Reciepts) my 2011 FXST is insured for $32,000. as of last June. For 3 to 4 days a week. cost was $534. Have had a mate claim through them, and Paid up no problems.
I changed to Youi recently. It now costs me $237.39 for an agreed value of $21000 for my FXDWG. It's about half of what QBE were charging me.
Thanks to this thread motivating me and my renewal turning up, just changed my insurance from Market to agreed value, included the engine mods, and my insurance actually went down, from $400 to $360 ! The QBE consultent couldn't even figure out why ! - computer says !
I have a couple of bikes insured with Youi, they also tailor insurance depending on level of usage, in my case I probably rack up less than 1000kms per year due to work commitments, so both packages cost me around $300/ p.a.
The acid test of an insurance company is when you make a claim though, and thankfully I have not yet had to do that.
