Been taking off an adding some custom bits to my girl before i put her on the road. one thing i didnt like was the god aweful factory indicators. As its a older softail many of my mates have suggested not to worry about any indicators. Im not a fan of having them on the front but i feel the need to have them on the back. So i bought myself a pair of the oldschool wedge style rear indicators. i know that all 4 wires, front an rear need to be connected to complete the circuit. But does anyone know how to wire up for the rear indicators only. Cheers Damo

1976 compliance came into Australia and all bikes from the 1970's had blinkers. I got my 72 norton through years back with no flashers but I doubt I could get it through these days. The guy doing the test thought it needed flashers but the RTA had no info on the Nortons as it was chucked when they went with computers after the deparment of motor transport changed to the RTA.
    Good Luck

Damo, assuming all the cabling is still there, as far as I know, all you'd need to do is connect up the rears and make sure the front wires are insulated in some way so they can't short to the frame or each other.
