event went well. but you have to wonder about the lack of commitment... a mate and i donated $50 between us to the fighting fund collection tht was all over the event, and the grand total collected was under $750. so good on people for turning up to be counted, but for something this important i recon thats too tightarsed there were thousands there.. is $1 each roo much to expect... total should have been thousands in my opinion.

Maybe, just maybe, everyone's not so united.

It`s hard to comprehend thats for sure OneUp ... i chucked in a fiver to do my bit but was left feeling a little flat when they read that amount out ... depending on who you believe there was anywhere from 1000 to 3000 people and even if you take 30 or 40 per cent off for people who are there just for the show of support which by the way is at least doing something it would seem likely there would have been more than that .

I did think to myself how could they have got a acurate count considering there were a lot of colecters spread out that day ... oh well at least some are trying i surpose ...

lets see how fast the knockers and non believers here say we are wasting our time ... a couple of pics of the day if they come through .

Probably not a real relevant comment but when you mentioned Bush users it made me think of how certain councils around Australia want to ban free camping anywhere ... not sure how they would

enforce it but where does it end with these money hungry freedom killing ass holes .
