    Hi Guys.

Just wanting to get some opinions on what I've done to my NT

Lowered the rear end and blacked out rear wheel.

Have also added Burleigh Bars in Gloss Black. (Still need to do the internal wiring for the switch blocks.

What do we think of my combo?

Your gunna have a bumpy ride on a lowered softail, I know because that's what I did before I installed a Shotgun Shock. But I'm old and like a bit of comfort.

Looks good as any bike lowered and fat bars. Rear wheel looks good too.

when i bought my fatboy it was low, too low, it was hitting the bump stops too often. i raised it roughly an inch and the ride was a lot better. it still looks as low as it ever did but that one inch made a big difference to the ride. i will probably raise it another 1/2inch cos i am a bit of a soft cunt. my bike is black (gloss) (forks included) but the original alloy wheels are still there. if i get any advice on how to put a picture up i will do it. black and chrome, fukin love it.

Looks great! I might be biased though

Think you need to black the front wheel too though, the contrast of a full black rear run with a polished front looks a bit unbalanced

    Yeah definatleyon the cards.

Going to do a Fat spoke front wheel with Black Rim and hub and stainless spokes, Also going to black the lower fork legs.

    Just time!!!

Finally got the front wheel and had the lower fork tubes black gloss and I also did the internal wiring for the bars.

Starting to look exactly how I wanted.

Nice man, it's looking a lot more balanced now. You have any plans for lowering the front and more in the rear?

    Thanks guys.

Squid I'm not to keen to lower it anymore as i tend to ride a little harder and i scrape the pipes a bit plus scraped the primary case last ride and kicked the arse up and out. Almost had to have a undie change after that one.

I know it would look alot better lower but i still need a little bit of handling and performance (Well as much as a harley can give you anyway)

If i do upgrade anything will prob be to Air shocks so i can have the best of both worlds i suppose.

I am also in agreeance about the Night Train being the best model released, Hence the reason i bought one.

Thanks again guys and enjoy the ride!!!!

Yeah I bet that would of scared fuck outa ya. I don't mind grinding the pipes down, even if they did cost me $900, eventually they'll wear down enough they don't drag. But hitting the primary isn't fun. That's why I run shotgun air shocks, highly recommend them. Going to run a exile open primary maybe later in the year, they aren't as big and bulky as the closed primary case, so you can lay it down a lot more when it's lowered

Yeah definately wasn't fun. Likewise her, not to fussed about the pipes getting scraped, they'll get to the point were i can longer get them to hit the ground without myself hitting it also, ha ha.
The air shocks will definately be the next upgrade but just time and cash, Oh and trying to hide it from the missus. Open primary would def look pretty sweet on your ride. I love what you've done with her mate. Good work and keep the pics coming!!!

Haha oh I know what you mean, I'm in the same boat. Trick is to wait for a time she buys something expensive or pisses you off about something, then buy your parts then!
Thanks for the compliments mate. The shotgun air ride has a lifetime warranty, that's pretty f'n good! And it's only one of two air rides made for the softail that you can adjust the dampening = much better ride. If you're interested in it and the time comes, give me a bell I know of a way for you to get a discount on them
