Anyone know when the sealed lamps changed to globes or visa versa?

ive got a 98 heritage, and all the parts i cant find one relate to sealed beams. however mines got the H3 globes.

Anyone think these have been changed at some stage, or did they come out like that from factory?

I thought they all were sealed beams with 35watt Filaments fitted.. By Law in Australia, to abide by the ADR it is Illegal for them to come on with Low Beam. I have fitted LED Daymaker inserts and are wired to High Beam and also Must wired so that you can turn them Off and Use Only High Beam without the extra ( driving lights)

the set up you have is the same, which the standard set up i think. ( except the lamp type)

i have since discovered, by speaking with the parts guys at HD that they definately would have been changed.
weird, it was purchased at 2 years old, with only 1000k's on it. and hasnt been touched since.
obviously the original owner really didnt like the sealed beams.

only taken 16years to figure out they were changed haha.
