Hi can some one help me out and tell me where the gear box drain plug is on a 1992 softail. I've changed all the other oils but can't find the trans plug. I've looked over it and checked between the shocks but I can't see it. Any help would be great.

Thanks Perth hog. I seen that but wasn't sure as I seen on the net that is between the shocks but couldn't see one anywhere and I didn't want to go pulling screws out to work out where it was. Whats the best oil to run i was told to run 90 gear box oil from a hd dealer as its better then the hd stuff. And thanks for the welcome to mate. This is my first Harley and I want to change all oils so I know they're all new. So far the motor and primery oils where fresh just like I was told when I bought it but I'm changing them so I can be sure trans was changed as well I was told but now I know it's fresh oil I. There. I'm loving owning this bike it only got 16,500kms on it and I want to try and keep it like new. Lol. I've even started looking for another Harley so I can have two in the shed and hand one off to my boy in five years. For his 21st b,day. Thanks again mate
