    Very simple to fit.

    2 year warrantee

    they are a bit noisey

well we finally got a descent day to test my new "Wards Parts Werks" fans.
35deg C plus what ever the road temp was.
Sitting at traffic lights today I am watching my temp do the usual rise as the seconds go by. 132 when stopping at the lights and 148 by the time I get moving. Next set of lights it's back down to 137 and as I stop I switched on the fans. Normal length wait which is to long in the heat but as I started off the temp gauge is reading 129. So not only did they stop the normal heat rise they managed to pull the temp down
Thats good enough for me to say these things work.
Cruising through the tunnel my temp normally rises by 12 deg but today it came down 4 deg.
So even when moving these things still pull the temp down.
Got home and turned it off and tep was 132 switched on the fans and they drop the temp 1 deg approx every 5 seconds.

Not real cheap but I already had 2 x 10 row Jagg coolers with fans on 1 unit that couldn't keep the temp under control so I would say these fans are cheap by comparrision.

    cheers

    Max

Would be nice if some of the bike shops could stock them. Especially if they work so well. Some guys are spending big on fancy oil pans etc.

yea we don't have a lot of choice here.
This is one of the very few things I have ever put on a bike and been able to instantly measure a very good result.

A lot of guys wouldn't know what temp the bike is but I got a bad habbit of having the head temp gauge on all the time

I'm to scared to check. Would be one more thing to be paranoid about.

    I hear that.
yesterday was a great test for them, 35 deg stuck in traffic at 2.00pm and not a problem to be found. I'm even thinking of pissing off the oil coolers now just to clean things up a bit

I've had these on for over a year now and would recommend them. I also have a Jag oil cooler on my Heritage as well as the cooling fans and the engine head temps usually sit at between 108 to 112 when cruising. In hot temps sitting in heavy traffic the temps now are around 120 mark. Before the temps used to get up to 155.

After a good run the oil temp is always sitting on 105.

These fans definitely help drop engine temps.

Sorry guys--- just getting use to this forums layout. I just posted a review in the touring bike section. One of the best things I've ever bought and the service is incredible. He's an army guy still on active service and developed his own product after extensive research. Cost me About $300.00 delivered to my door. I would recommend the new snatch switch which makes it thermostatically operated. Fit and finish is first class and the fan works! You can sit at a light all day with the motor running and you won't overheat. 67 cubic feet of air a minute blowing across your cylinder heads and no it isn't noisy! This is his web site.He gives a discount for HD forum members and people in the service!

Definitely an interesting read, Would be good for the Ozzy summers on those 40º c and above days. Still adds additional cooling while on nthe move.

Hey fatty. Looks good. Can you give some detail on whether you bought from Wards or an Australian supplier and actual cost landed here if bought from Wards. Thanks

I was just about to order a set of ward werks fans but I'm not sure if I should order the ones with the 'battery ring' connector or the 'OEM B+ connector'.

It sounds easier to plug into an existing connector but does my 2012 Switchback have a B+ connector?
