My first Harley

Hi I'm Mark from brisbane, I've just bought my first harley, a 1987 FXLR and got alot of plans for it, but basically want to turn it into a 'switchback' style bike so I can enjoy the long and short of it so to speak. I had plans to build a full custom from scratch but decided to start with a good handling platform, the fxr, and build it from there. Performance mods, topend rebuild and a new paint job just for starters. But many more changes planned when I can afford it. I know I'm not going to get the money back I put into it but that's not really the point, I just want a reliable bike that handles and is also easy to change into a tourer if I want to put some K's on her.
