Leaving Melborne and heading to Sydney for a break on the Deluxe. Taking the major route along the coast. Can anyone recommend interesting places to stop,visit and photo's of?

Even if slighty out of the way.

+ 1 on the last members post. A great ride and road before that is turn off at Cann River, and ride to Bombala. From Bombala ride down to Whydham , follow this road and you come out south of Pambula on the main Hwy. Carry on to Merimbula and do the Tathra - Bermagui back road ride as suggested. Check out Google maps as its not complicated !!!
Also check out Tilba Tilba , south of Narooma. A old and historic country town . Its just off the Hwy.
Members south of Sydney may chime in on some good easy off the Hwy rides , ie, Kangaroo Valley etc . What date are you leaving Melbourne ??? I live in the Bega area, if the time suites , I could have a little spurt around the area with you. Cheers Mark .

If you are heading up past Nowra, make sure you turn off and spend a bit of time at Huskison on Jervis Bay. One of my favourite places. Whitest sand in the world, great pub and great for boating and diving.

Also a few hours at Berry is worthwhile, lots of bikes stop there on the weekends.
