Crank size

Hi to the informed people that know, and also to those who are interested like me in the tec.

Does crank size need to be considered when buying bigger bore and piston kits. Revolution is advertising bolt on 131cube for 103inch motor. I think the crank in my 120r has a longer stroke than 103. I would also need further case boring as well. My engine is burning some oil but  I'm not ready to rebuild until really bad. But if a bore and piston kit come up at the right price I might buy and put aside for latter.

    Cheers Dutchy.

Ps. interest always out weighs cash.

Yeah but not sure how big the crank is. Or if I can use and brand of bore for the crank I've got.

    R&R 131 is 4 3/8 x 4 3/8, your 120 crank is 4 5/8 .

Pretty sure your cases won't go out the big anyway .

I read on one of the yanky HD forums, that one of the piston makers are making pistons for a 131cid Twin cam that suits the 120 crank/short rod combination. Would require 4.250" barrels I would think. I'll post the link if I can find it again. - Rob
