Does anyone know the difference between pre 95 sensors and 96 plus ..my 97 flht has fried the pickup sensor and for some reason the oem unit  32448-95a is squillions of dollars dearer than the previous 32400-94 sensor .. The obvious question is will the earlier unit  work ...

older bike maybe better off buying a new complete ign system  dual or single fire , crane or daytona tech brand with new coil , 

Thanks guys  different plug connectors and angle sensor sounds about right to me too ..I can change the plug pins and dont need an angle sensor  ..Have ordered sensor today saved  $200.00 ..

New unit and plug arrived yesterday ...cut pins off sensor and fitted replacement plug ..20 mins and shes going again, no problems ..
