That would be pretty unnerving. I read somewhere else that it is an inherent problem with those models. Something to do with the chassis dynamics/harmonics and the engine mounting. Apparently the true track engine mount mod fixes it.

Watching those videos it appeared to be reproducible under certain circumstances: accelerating out of a corner. Makes you wonder if the rubber mounts are not designed to absorb the vibration horizontally, only longitudinally. Or that the rubber mounts become stressed as the motor tips on its side and can't absorb the vibrations any longer, transferring the energy to the chassis and then wheels.

Looking at that video , it seems its got more to do with him scraping than a problem with the bike , After all its a Harley built for comfort and touring , not scraping pegs , he should ride a jap bike

Probably been posted before.  And sorry Tim, it's a little off topic.

My 07 used to dance around at 70 mph after hitting a bump midway through a sweeper its more a weave than a tank slapper but its still very disturbing first time the bike does it. Frame alinment heavy fork springs better shocks and a stabilizer has tammed it down but the tripple trees start to flex at 120 mph.

Sit on your bike and give the bars a good shake and feel the forks flex.

If you guys come to belingen this year you can get a idea on how the later frame handles our roads down south.

Is the swing arm mounted to the gearbox/motor on those ones and the motor rubber mounted to the rest of the frame?  If it is the bike has a rubber hinge between the front and back wheels.
