What a difference an extra 3 inches makes

Finally got around to extending my foot controls out three inches. Got the Ness kit from Rob's Cycle Supply in the US. Took it for a quick 50km spin and it feels a hell of a lot better.

The install was interesting. Removing the old rear brake line was fun, trying to pull it through from behind the exhaust actuator thingy. Then the new brake line had a bracket to mount the switch to that I couldn't install in the right spot.

But she's all done now and I'm happy as a pig in shit. Took a couple of photo's after the install... I'll post em when I find my phone cable.

6'4" Bano. My old man is a bit of a short arse and he reckoned it was alright when he sat on it.

I used to have a 98 Superglide with forward controls that I extended 3" and he struggled to reach them.

some people say three inches is nothing I say put three inches on the end of your cock and see if you notice that. It really is amazing how movements such as these can influence the way we ride. The sad part is you have to spend the bucks to find out if its right for you. Three inches can mean the difference between just right or cant walk straight for two days on a long run.
