Throwing it out there. I run a 96cub with PC, short shots, PM filter, have some awesome torque but it struggles with the high end power when running high speeds and wanting to push it a bit further. Don't want to lose my quick off the mark torque as I use it the most.
Recommendations?
Bucks pretty big, but wallet ain't so fat. No longer in Tbar any more, back in Brissy. It's a PC5, Lads at HDuty reckon a straight cam upgrade will do the trick, I'm not so sure, hence am finding any other cost effective recommendations that may do the trick. Just weighing up wether to spend money hotting up the current engine or wait and upgrade later this year or next year to the 103 Glide for a couple of $k.

what sorta high end you hopeing 2 achieve i mean ya top speed wound out maybe 190-200 klm ya bike would probably go better with standard pipes and proper tune .yeah ya like da noise of ya pipes now but those pipes wrong .put standard pipes back on and put rush mufflers on and then u will see and feel improvement in tourque and top end speed and they sound good when ya on it and tune also i have set rush mufflers spare in cuboard and filter to suit that change and it did make a big difference keep da headers change mufflers been down this road .now i have 103ci stg 4 and that pulls like nothing youve experienced yet. i rode yesterday at great high speeds will sit comfy 180 an will pass 200 mark if desired wen u go from 65hp 2 117hp you are rideing somthing that will leve you buzzing after u get did 200ks yesterday at as fast as i felt and 200 came up a few times mainly hoverin around 130 onwards 4 most of journey so if really want this push it a bit further stg 4 103 kit is were u will find it
mate i read all suggestions on this power trip put this with that add dat do diss ,now not knowin much myself about all this kit everybody has there views on this subject ,well i went on net and looked an also listned 2 guys that had done this 103 stg 4 upgrade ,and when i heard first start on guys bike you tube ,i says fuk thats what i want sounded like tearing air ,so armed with this knowledge i went 2 HD shop an ask please may i order 1 of those 103 stg 4 kits man looked at me and replied ,are you sure you want 2 do this ,i replied yes anyway rode in rode out next day 4800 an after 1000k cum bak and 500 more 2 dyno ended up 117hp an 117 tourque ,man wen they started that bike inside shop i thought wonder who owns that an guess wat man rides out an goes hows that sound ,i was like fuk me that thing is tearin air just sittin there idleing is ,like entranceing now i had pipes already on which worked with upgrade and can be tuned 2 mods V&H BIG SHOTS staggered ,and mechanic was impressed with build and test rode and said its an animal ,an ya no what he was right fuk all this mix an match shit they told me that this is a proven product by screamin eagle ,now i have given this motor biggest flogging and has performed without a glitch punished really you can pull 180 plus in 5th im lucky if tyre lasts 2000k i jus smoke it every set of lights jus love the feelin of spinnin up reminds me of ridin dirt were ya always on it ,the noise of this thing on hwy at 120 plus is you own road cars actually hear u and move over before you get close now thats power over people,s thoughts isnt it just man on motorcycle coming ,who is he wat is it ,u know how u hear air force jets an givs ya a buzz wen day go low an ya look up but already gone ,well thats the closest way i can describe the sensation to nirvana your gunna get open ya wallet 5200-5300 and u will find wat your looking for SHINGLES AND YES every thing comes with kit nothing extra 2 buy even came with tuner and u keep all your standard parts heads barrles pistons cams pushrods intake aircleaner cams injectors wat u get is everthing from conrods up and clutch pressure plate upgrade decompressors electronic inside engine new air sceaminging eagle system bigger throttle body new fuel injectors tripple size fuel economy gone i hav rev tacho set at 5800 for gear changes will rev 2 6250rpm,s easy but only hit mainly when doin burnouts now children run inside when i start her up i call bike dr.evil
well all info can be found by looking up www. screaming eagle performance parts catalogue ,harly dont put that info in there parts and accessories book thingy ,u have 2 wade through some pages an pages of stuff but eventually u may find the list of parts that all come as one unit as mine came in two big boxes from states ,so there is no mix and matching as its all in one complete kit ,loook im not real savy with computas but ill try and find info 2 nite an see if i can get it on site 4 u ,know i looked at screaming eagle performance book at HD dealer an decided on upgrade after talking with service department manager about whats what ,coz was readin if ya put this with that bla bla bla,he quoted 2 me thats not the best way because of tuning problems if u mix and match were as the stg iv screaming eagle kit is a proven working tuneable item and has been made that all parts function as expected ,but your bike will not be the same bike like jus jump on an jus nip off 2 da shops or watever ,firstly has 2 be warmed up good he stated or ill fuk it and pipes 2 make work i said wat,s da best for mods and i had just put pipes on with standard 96ci motor and i actually lost tourqe and top end speed jus died in ass at 180 ,he replied those pipes on bike will now work perfectly with kit coz been tested by screaming eagle company ,and yes all works as should and i noticed that i kood go 20klms faster in sections i rode daily and as fast as bike would go in same gears so that was a major jump in speed ,anyway i kood go on an on ,i started a thread about all this a far while ago so it s all there and other people with same mods i think its called my dealer said that he could fit 103stg iv kit for 4800 ride away try that and something will come it went on for 16 plus threads or watever there called SHINGLES
well ol mate i jus looked up spec sheet on all info screaming eagle race parts catalogue and all info comes under page 39 called stage race kits 2600 usd but on top of that here u need big screaming eagle air cleanergadjet electronic compression release and cam bearing kit upgrade but most dealers do all this in a pakage ill repeat 4800 fitted screaming eagle tuner comes with kit so if ya already got ya sell anyway compression u asked about 10-5;1 an se-259 cams your bike will jump from 65 hp 2 117hp an tourque on mine same bikes do vary a little in figures but not much ,mine was tuned bymorgan an wacker HD tuner in bris who does all there drag bikes an is one of the most sort after tuners can wait 3mths but my bike was sold by them so i jumped the wait ,the best bang for your dollar in searching for that bit more well this is more than a bit more doesnt like puttin around town shit ,its an aggressive engine an just wants to go ,u wont sit at lights or in traffic givin it little blips of throttle like i lot of people do ,i just let it idle in its unique way and wen go green an u giv handfull be prepared there is no hesitation in my motor it jus go from zero 2 warp in an instant im always smokin rear on takeoff jus me bein silly but thats wat it likes iman aggressive rider dont hold back mine does good wheelstands
